What is an AI accounting agent?
Accounting software waits for you to do the work: you upload the invoice, you pick the account, you reconcile the bank. An agent does that work and brings it back done, with the numbers, for you to approve or correct.
The difference isn't that there's a chat. It's that the agent has tools to read your real data and an accounting engine that does the maths. The model understands what you're asking for; the amounts are worked out by code.
